Perfect toy for young babies!May 13, 2008 I was having the hardest time getting my baby to enjoy his "tummy time" until I discovered this toy!
At 10 weeks old, my son enjoyed just laying on his tummy and looking at the brightly-colored tags while i pushed them for him. By 12 weeks old he started noticing the handsome baby in the mirror, too! And now, at 15 weeks old he is starting to push on the tags himself and is surprised when they make noises at him. Without this toy, my baby simply will not tolerate tummy time!
My only complaint is that there is no volume control on it; the sounds are very loud and hurt even my ears when we're laying close to it. Other than that, it's a perfect toy! I even bought two more to give to friends who are having babies soon.

Not all I had hoped forFeb 27, 2008 I bought this product looking for a floor mirror for my 3 mo. old daughter to play tummy time. Unfortunately the mirror is a little high off the floor so she can't actually see herself in it when she's on her tummy holding her head up. Also there is no volume control and the voices are a little loud and startling for her. I gave this 2 stars because it's colorful, and at least my 2 1/2 yr. old son likes to play with it. I think I will just go get a floor length mirror and prop it up horizontally against my entertainment unit like I did when my son was a baby. He loved that and it worked way better than this toy!
mirror friendJan 19, 2008 My kido loves this mirror. It sets up nice, and the he played with it/drooled on it so much it wore out. Never got around to using the MP3 plug in feature, but it still hangs in the crib so my baby can talk to his mirror friend.
The song and sounds were very cute while they lasted.
Very cute!Jan 18, 2008 This is such a cute mirror. When you press all the tails, it says what color and animal it is. If you press the frog, it plays a really cute song. It is so much better than a boring plain mirror. My foster daughter wasn't interested in the mirror itself until I started playing with the other stuff on the mirror one day. She slowly started paying attention to it and after a few minutes she was babbling away at herself in the mirror. We play with this on the floor but it would be a great addition to a crib as well.
Nothing specialJan 11, 2008 It doesn't stand up very well on its own so don't let the advertisement fool you. I ened up hooking it up to the back of a chair so my son could play with it. It is sometimes difficult to press the sound buttons too. My son who is eleven months now has only done it maybe three times on his own in the month we have had it. All in all though it does have cute sounds and is a good sized mirror.
