I didn't know the sex of my baby so I chose the froggy theme for the nursery. My daughter was born 4/12/06 and I am very pleased with the colors of this bedding. I have added some pink accents to make it a little more feminine. I bought some full pink curtains from Target that look really nice. Anyways, to sum it up- I highly recommend this bedding for either a boy or a girl ( you can always accent).

This item is absolutely adorable. I had Paul Lemke of Immagine Faux Finishing out of Atlanta, Ga come in an paint the Frogs and Dragonflies and a "down by the pond" theme mural on my walls surrounding the Crib...FABULOUS!!!!
His work is at www.paullemke.net He is an artist beyond belief and can theme a kid's room to the 9!!!! Awsome!!! Call 770.356.5854 to get him to complete your babies room like I did as well as making it look wonderful by using babies R Us decor.

I have to say I love this set. I bought it in August and my son was born Christmas Eve. I had no trouble with washing any part of this set. I ironed the bed sheet and the valance which both ironed just fine. I ordered the diaper genie cover and the hamper. I also bought some other things from other lines to make my room complete. I am very happy that I found this because when I was pregnant I did not know what I was having. So this set works for both a boy or a girl. My next purchase will be the rocker when he gets a little bigger. People visit me all the time and when I show them his room they always say this room looks like something out of a magazine. The only thing I wish they had was a full curtain. I ended up buying one from Wal-Mart that matched the blue, but it was not really what I wanted.

I bought this for my little boy. It's adorable in person. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when you wash it, the chenile part of the ensemble creates little balls even washing it in gentle cycle. The comforter and bumper should be washed separately to keep the lint balls from sticking onto other articles.

I really loved this pattern when I saw it in the store, and was disappointed that it came in a giant, expensive 6 piece set - who really uses a diaper stacker anyway? I found a 3 piece version of the same set at JCPenney, and would recommend that instead: you get the quilt, bumper, and sheet, and you can then buy/register for extra sheets and accessories at Babies R Us.
It is really a cute set, and works very well for either gender, so you can use it for multiple kids. It's held up pretty well for the three months we've used it so far. I would just recommend getting the cheaper set instead.
Safety note: the bumper only has ties on the top, except in one corner where it has ties on the top and bottom. You might want to sew extra ties onto the bottom of the bumper if it's a huge concern.
