Description:

The Peek-a-Boo Piano offers so many ways to play! Attach it to your baby's crib, where the high contrast of black-and-white keys and bold graphic patterns are easy for newborns to focus on. Gently flapping wings, softly paced lights, and up to 10 minutes of continuous music offer the right stimulation. Then as baby learns to kick, he'll be rewarded with peek-a-boo play, music and lights. Baby can rattle the birdie's dangling feet while discovering the magic of cause and effect! When your baby can sit independently, place the piano on the floor for exciting concerts. Pressing individual piano keys creates music.

Features:

The Peek-a-Boo Piano¿ offers so many ways to play!

The soft birdie comes alive when baby kicks the developmental black and white piano keys, and encourages further play with dangling rattle and crinkle feet, and developmental colors.

3 modes: Mom activated mode features 5 songs (10 minutes), baby activated mode allows baby to kick the piano keys and be rewarded with 5-8 seconds of music that adds to make a full song, and piano mode plays music notes for each key kicked.

Extra excitement is provided by the cool tube lighting that turns on as baby plays and birdie intermittently plays pee-a-boo in all modes. An insect friend with soft wings resides on the piano keys to tickle baby's toes and encourage kicking.

As baby grows, the Kick and Play Peek-a-boo Piano can be easily removed from the crib using the convenient handle for crib to floor mode fun. Music can be adjusted to high, low, or off for times when baby needs to rest.

5Love this- a must!Aug 02, 2007
This piano is great. My daughter used it for the first 18 months and I'm keeping it for my next child. You can hook it to the crib when they're little and then later on, they can sit and use it as a actual piano. It has 3 different settings so it can play music on its own and your baby can use their feet or hands to play the piano. There's so many toys out there these days and I would recommend this to anyone!

5Fantastic Baby ToyJul 19, 2007
My daughter is 10 weeks old and loves to kick. We put this in her crib and now the crib is a happy place. Hubbie and I love to play with her and the piano, but she's also happy playing with it by herself. This morning I was able to put laundry away, water window boxes, do the dishes AND eat breakfast while she happily played with this in her crib all by herself. She looks so cute kicking it as well. She is sleeping through the night and this is our routine: Change her diaper and put her in pjs, then put her in the crib to play with the piano, then swaddle her and feed her while rocking til she falls asleep, then put her in the crib already asleep, and she sleeps from 11pm to 6am.

4Love itMar 07, 2007
My son is now 6 1/2 months old and he loves it. He kicks away at it until he tires himself out. It is a bit heavy and you must make sure you tie it tight so that it doesn't fall or get pulled off. The sound has 2 settings, low and high. I read the review that said it was very low, i suspect it might have been on the low setting. Overall, i'd like to see a better way to secure it to crib but my son loves it.

2Not versatile enough to be worth the moneyAug 13, 2006
This is a kick piano, not a hand piano and as such it needs to be mounted in a baby's crib. We thought it would be useable if we just held the piano in place for our daughter to kick, or for her to use her hands on the keys - it isn't. As we use her crib for sleeping, not playing, this has been a total waste of money.
At 10 months my daughter is now able to sit and press the keys on the piano with her hands, but the response of the keys isn't instant and the noise is so soft that she doesn't recognise that she's making it work. Her sister's toy xylophone with twice the number of keys, an obvious sound and an instant response to her touch is far easier and far more satisfying for her to use.
